Steve Krauss' event production career has spanned over 25 years producing some of America's most well known and beloved events. Steve produced the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, 4 th of July fireworks spectacular, and Times Square 2000! His Promotional, Branding and New Product Launch know-how has lead to work with the world's largest and best known companies including Microsoft, IBM, Nokia and Toys R Us.

Steve's event production career began in New York as a volunteer for Macy*s Special Productions while completing High School. Upon returning to New York with a degree from the University of Denver, he accepted a permanent position on the Macy's Production Team. His team created some of America's most beloved and land marked events, including 15 parades. Steve's responsibilities extended from marketing, and sponsorships, to operations & logistics for many annual events including the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular, in-store and corporate events throughout the United States.

After leaving Macy's, Steve worked on the development of a New York Tourist Attraction; and in Marketing for a Film and Video Company with clients such as IBM and Nokia. In 1998, Steve started a New York Based Event Production Company. As founder and principal, Steve's event Production Company teamed up with former colleagues and produced events including Times Square 2000 and the Grand Opening of Toys R Us Times Square. Steve led numerous projects with Microsoft, and worked with Porter Novelli, Weber Shandwick, and Edelman PR on various consumer product launches and promotions.

In 2003 a new beginning found Steve, and he started a client driven event Production Company. He modeled his current company EventAbility on a boutique formula while offering large scale event production services. His client list includes major league baseball stars, Toys R Us, Deutsch and Hit Entertainment. While offering quality production services, Steve firmly believes that success in the industry begins and ends with "the relationship"; whether it be with the client, event vendors, or the event attendee!

On a more personal note, Steve is an avid collector of aviation memorabilia, and loves to vacation in the mountains of Montana! "Every time I return from Montana, I feel so refreshed, energized and ready to tackle the next mountain! What a great place to revive yourself," says Steve!
